It’s hard to believe just how quickly a year passes. It feels like yesterday I was taking Gabriella’s newborn photos and here she is, already a little lady. Talking, waving “hello” to me as I come in… and she’s even almost walking! As always, I had a wonderful afternoon hanging out with her and her mommy, Heather, as we played in the park in San Ramon and had some bathtub fun! I feel so honored to have had the opportunity to watch her grow over these last 12 months, and I look forward to watching her blossom into the adorable girl she’ll become.

May 3, 2010Baby Photography | Little Kamran 5 Weeks
April 15, 2010World, meet little baby Kamran. Kamran, meet World (and all of Auntie Ashley’s friends). You may not know this little guy yet, but someday you will. Maybe he’ll be a leader in fighting world hunger in 2032, or a famous writer who brings joy to the world through his visions of peace. But for now, all he needs is just to be. To sleep. To grow. To learn. To love. And with the help of his amazing parents, Stephanie and Iman, there isn’t anything he can’t do.
Kids Photography | Gabriella 9 Months
February 20, 2010My parents tell me that I was pretty mellow as a child. Maybe they’re just being nice, or have selective memory, but it makes me think about how much our personality shines through even when we’re little tots. Take Gabriella for instance. I’ve been taking photos of Gabriella since she was only 6 weeks old and I can tell that when she grows up, she’s going to be just as relaxed and laid-back as she is now. To me, she’s perfect. I know a lot of that comes from her amazing parents, but it’s still fun to witness. She is such a sweetheart. And yes to all that have commented, she DOES have the cutest collection of flower headbands I have ever seen! :)
Baby Photography | London Turns One
January 24, 2010I was standing in the kitchen chatting with Kenny, London’s dad, when out of the corner of my eye, I spotted a huge pink puff sticking out from behind the wall. I could swear it wasn’t there a second ago. Then it started to move. I could hardly believe my eyes when attached to that pink fluffiness was London, and she was slowly walking (yes, walking!) out to say hello. I know I say this a lot, but it’s truly incredible how quickly they grow. It feels like just a few short months ago London could barley hold her head up and now she’s walking and even dancing! It reminds me to slow down, take a deep breath, and take the time to appreciate all the little moments life subtly hands us.
