I was standing in the kitchen chatting with Kenny, London’s dad, when out of the corner of my eye, I spotted a huge pink puff sticking out from behind the wall. I could swear it wasn’t there a second ago. Then it started to move. I could hardly believe my eyes when attached to that pink fluffiness was London, and she was slowly walking (yes, walking!) out to say hello. I know I say this a lot, but it’s truly incredible how quickly they grow. It feels like just a few short months ago London could barley hold her head up and now she’s walking and even dancing! It reminds me to slow down, take a deep breath, and take the time to appreciate all the little moments life subtly hands us.
London Turns 9 Months
London keeps getting cuter and cuter every time I see her. Since it was time for her 9 months photos, I headed out to her home in Antioch to see what she’s been up to! She was kind enough to let her mom and I put her in her adorable Halloween costume. She’s growing up so quickly! Her mommy, Nesha, told me the day after I was there that London took her first steps! Way to go London!
Santa Clara Kids Portrait Photography | Dasha & Family
I always have a wonderful time when I visit this family and I can’t believe it’s already been a year since I last took pictures of Dasha! This time was extra special as they had family visiting from Russia for a few weeks and thought it would be fun to include everyone in the photos! Although it was a bit windy, we had a great time running around the in the park near their house. Dasha is growing up so beautifully and she is becoming quite the photographer to boot! She showed me some of the photos she took on her camera and they’re really good! What fun – I hope she continues to pursue it!
Outdoor Kids Photography Walnut Creek | The Shedd Girls
I can’t believe how quickly the time goes. It seems like yesterday I was taking baby London’s 3 month photos, and in the blink of an eye here she is ready for her 6 month pics! We all got together at Heather Farms Park in Walnut Creek – and I couldn’t believe how much she had changed. She’s crawling around, sitting up, sucking her thumb – TOO cute! And I couldn’t help but take some more pictures of her beautiful big sister Mersayis! I love this family. I really do.
Sunday Afternoon in the Park
On Sunday we went to Heather Farms Park in Walnut Creek to hang out with our friends Jake and Katie and their little man, Jack. After grabbing some burritos for the girls, and Kinder’s sandwiches for the boys, we laid out our blanket in the sun, kicked back and caught up. In between games of whiffle ball, we snapped a few photos of the little guy… who adorably kept calling my husband “Christmas” instead of Chris. Too cute!
