Northern California is home to many incredible landmarks. Although I’ve lived here my whole life, there are still so many places I haven’t visited (including Muir Woods).  So when Chris and I got the invitation to go hiking in Muir Woods with some friends, we were all over it!  I had always heard how beautiful it was, but seeing it in person is truly amazing.  Armed with lots of sunscreen and snacks – we set off to go hiking! This was about the time I thought I was going to die – and the water ran out.  Had I known we weren’t even REMOTELY close to the top I would have just turned around.  I would LOVE to have a word with all those people coming down who told us, “Oh…umm… it’s not THAT far…” …  Yeah.  Not that I’m complaining.  Actually, yes, I am.
But we made it!
